Fishing Report 4/25
We are getting alot of moisture in northern NM. Temps have been cold enough to drop good amounts of snow in the mountains. Aside from keeping fire danger down and providing more water for the fish mid-summer, this cold snap has halted snow melt. The Rio Grande is droping (it may be a little muddy at first with the rain we got) and should be good this week. This may be one more shot for you to hit our famous Caddis hatch! The fishing should get better once it warms up a bit around Wed. or Thursday. The Cimmaron and Costilla have been decent but are getting hit with snow and rain at the moment and wont be good untill it warms up.
