End of June Fishing Report

Fishing has remained good in almost all of our waters this week, though some are starting to struggle from the dry conditions and heat.  High mountain streams like the Costilla and Cimmaron have fished well and should continue to do so, while the Red and the Rio Grande have both been stellar.  The Chama, Rio Pueblo and Rio Pueblo de Taos are not going to be good choices for fishing as a result of low warm water.  Looking forward, the Rio Grande and Red River should fish well through the summer, as low water is best for good fishing there, especially on the Rio.
