August Fishing Forecast

The Rio Grande remains low and, at most times, clear.  it has been producing great fish, and should continue to do so through August and into the fall.

The Costilla is low coming out of the dam, but fish catching has been ridiculous at times.  PMD's are hatching, and look for BWO's on cloudy afternoons as fall draws near.

Also think about the Trico Spinner Fall on the Cimmaron for the next month.  The bugs tend to be thickest in the upper stretches, and best fishing will be mid-morning.
